Lord Fedre is a character based off of Brandon's editor, Moshe Feder. {{ref|annotationb|318mb3|Lord Fedre, the infamous nobleman mentioned here for his research in canals, is none other than mya|49 editor,Part Moshe.2}} Brandon did this because it was originally Moshe's suggestion to use canals in the Mistborn books.
