'''Elendel''' is the largest city in the [[Elendel Basin|Basin]] on [[Scadrial]].{{map ref|Elendel}} Named by [[Spook]] for [[Elend Venture]], it is located at the mouth of the Irongate river where it flows into [[Hammondar Bay]]. Though no accurate estimate exists for population size, there are certainly millions of residence, and estimates top out at around five million{{book ref|mb4|1}}.
Elendel is also the center of government for the Basin and, as such, is home to many noble houses.
