In the months or years leading up to his death, Elhokar had been seeing [[Cryptic]]s, in their [[Shadesmar]] form, in mirrors.{{book ref|sa1|58}} He seems to have also spotted a [[Physical Realm|Physical]] form of a Cryptic at some point, possibly Design.{{book ref|sa3|74}} While Elhokar was seeing Cryptics in mirrors for a while, he only began saying the [[Immortal Words#The First Ideal|First Ideal]] just before he died.{{book ref|sa3|84}} Hoid later rescued the CrypticDesign from the [[Fused]] in [[Kholinar]] and bonded her himself.{{book ref|sa3|98}}{{wob ref|10746}}
