Despite being the unofficial mascot of Bridge Four, Dabbid was still unable to draw in [[Stormlight]], something he shared with [[Rlain]].{{book ref|sa3|46}} While the others never spoke it, Rlain saw the truth in the reactions of the other bridgemen, that it was probably best that him and Dabbid remain without Stormlight.{{book ref|sa3|55}}
===Occupation of Urithiru===
At some point while living in Urithiru, the [[Sibling]] reached out to establish a connection to Dabbid. The Sibling asked Dabbid to switch a spanreed gem to communicate with [[Navani]]. Dabbid gets caught making the switch. {{book ref|sa4|37}} During interrogation, one of Navani's guards identifies him as a member of Bridge 4. When the Singer invasion begins, Dabbid shows Navani which strata to touch to talk to the Sibling directly. {{book ref|sa4|39}}
As the occupations continues Dabbid becomes the go between for Navani and Kaladin. The Sibling is able to guide Dabbit to Kaladin's hiding spot in the higher floors to deliver broth. {{book ref|sa4|55}} He also delivers the elevator gauntlet fabrial and infused gemstones from Navani. {{book ref|sa4|63}} As Kaladin goes to skirmish with [[Lezian]] at the well, Dabbid says his first words since the disastrous bridge run: "Life before Death". {{book ref|sa4|70}} After the skirmish Dabbid is able to meet up with [[Rlain]] to wake Kaladin up from his comatose state. {{book ref|sa4|79}}
