The planet '''[[Taldain]]''' is tidally locked between two stars, a blue-white supergiant and a white dwarf. The side of the planet facing the former, [[Dayside]], is a vast desert where Investiture arrives from the light of the star. [[Darkside]] faces the white dwarf, leaving it in perpetual twilight; many things there fluoresce in ultraviolet light.
