A callingCalling iswas an occupation or activity which ideally willwould help one serve the Almighty in a better manner when ascending to the afterlife. The callingCalling cancould rangehave basicallyranged thefrom gamutall manner of jobsprofessions such as cooking and soldiering, although in [[Alethkar]] soldiering is considered to be the most valuable of skills (evenfollowed thoughclosely allby are technically equal)farming. An [[ardent]] will thenwould help the religious person set goals in their callingCalling in order to improveprove theirthemselves proclivityto the Almighty.
Also,It was believed that when onesomeone ascendsascended after death, onethey willwould use the calling given totheir themCalling in order to help the Almighty recapture the Tranquiline Halls (Soldiers willwould fight, Duelers willwould duel, Cooks willwould cook) however their abilities in their Calling would be greatly enhanced, farmers would wave a hand and a field of crop would grow.
