A brass [[Ferring]] is known as a '''Firesoul'''. Brass is used to store warmth. While filling a brassmind, a Feruchemist will be cool.{{book ref|b|mb4|ars}} It is currently unknown whether a Brass Ferring's body is able to resist higher temeratures. If not, there would be the dangerous risk of overheating when tapping the brassmind. If they do adjust, they could tap their brassminds in order to become semi-fireproof.
