At some point following the [[Catacendre]], Autonomy decided that [[Scadrial]]'s advancing technological development would be detrimental to her own goals.{{book ref|mb7|19}} Autonomy's initial plan for dealing with this was the creation of [[Set]], a secret society that resurrected the long-dead religion of [[Trelagism]] as [[Trellism]].
