▲Artifabrians were the engineers responsible for designing and building fabrials. There were a large variety of fabrials on Roshar with a variety of effects. They created fabrials by using gems of a particular size and cut to attract [[spren]] which were then trapped in the gemstones to produce a myriad of effects. They split the fabrials they designed into three categories: Altering fabrials, Pairing fabrials and Warning fabrials.

▲[[Navani Kholin]] was a notable [[Alethi]] artifabrian who helped in the creation of many fabrials, including the [[Grandbow]] and a type of [[painrial]].
