A Surgebinder that has drawn and used large amounts of Stormlight can be left feeling drained and exhausted.{{book ref|sa3|59}} However, there are no toxic levels of storm lights.{{wob ref|8627}} Continued use of Stormlight will have an effect on the body that cause permanent changes, the most obvious being eye color from dark to light. While there are extreme cases of changes to the bodies of those that use [[Soulcaster]] Fabrials, for example the Soulcaster [[Kaza]] became disfigured with parts of her body turning to smoke,{{book ref|sa3|i|4}} those changes are caused by the magic systems rather than Stormlight itself.{{wob ref|8627}}
