The rebellion was lead by [[Yeden]], and [[Kelsier's crew]] played a vital role in the formulation and running of the rebellion's armies.
Before [[Yeden]] hired [[Kelsier]]'s crew to raise an army for the rebellion, [[Marsh]] was their leader.{{book ref|mb1|7}} During that time the rebels hid runaways, planned burglaries, organized raids or kidnapped a minor Noble.{{book ref|mb1|4}}{{book ref|mb1|7}} The rebels never expected to be able to overthrow the [[Final Empire]], they just wanted to achieve something grand to give the skaa hope.{{book ref|mb1|4}}
