The '''Seventeenth Shard''' is a mysterious organization that, along with [[Hoid]] and the [[Shard]]s, is speculated to be influential in the overall [[Cosmere]]. Its members have a nonintervention philosophy,{{wob ref|1735}}, believing that the Shards were split up for a reason and that people shouldn't dabble in mixing them.{{wob ref|1564}} The organization's name was very deliberately chosen.{{wob ref|4439}}
