The Bondsmiths were [[Surgebinder]]s who used the two [[Surge]]s of Transportation{{ref|17s|4323|text=Seattle Signing Report 10/14/2013}} and they absorbed [[Stormlight]] from gems. So far it is not know what powers the Bondsmiths had, although it is confirmed they could for example snap a towel and make it stiff using Surface Tension.{{ref|17s|4258}} It is very likely that they also used a Nahel-bond.
