The Bondsmiths use the Surges of '''Tension''' and '''Adhesion'''. Using a combination of Tension and Adhesion, Bondsmiths are able to feel and hear the cognitive aspect of objects and can unite broken objects back together. The longer the object is broken and sees itself as separate objects, the harder it is to unite them back together. This bond will last even when Stormlight runs out.{{book ref|sa3|59}}
