*Oathbringer's canonical appearance has not been shown in the books despite Dalinar's appearance on the cover of ''[[The Way of Kings]]''. A Shardblade with a hooked tip is shown in a page of [[Shallan's sketchbook]], but [[Ben McSweeney]] has confirmed that it is not Oathbringer. He also mentioned that official artwork might appear in a tenth anniversary edition of ''The Way of Kings''.{{wob ref|13649}}
