There were at least seven original members of the Flight with Vent being Nightstorm Six and his brother being Nightstorm Seven.{{book ref|sky1|19}} Both brothers fly [[Sigo]]-class fighters{{book ref|sky1|26}} suggesting that this ship may be used by all members in this squad.
Nightstorm Flight participated in the fight over the first falling shipyard. During the battle, Vent and his brother flew into the shipyard and unfortunately died while inside.{{book ref|sky1|26}}
