There were at least seven original members of the Flight, withincluding Vent[[Nedd]]'s beingtwo Nightstorm Six and his brother being Nightstorm Sevenbrothers.{{book ref|sky1|19}} Both brothersof them fly [[Sigo]]-class fighters{{book ref|sky1|26}} suggesting that this ship may be used by all members in this squad.

Nightstorm Flight participated in the fight over the first falling shipyard. During the battle, [[Vent (Skyward)|Vent]] and his brother flew into the shipyard and unfortunately died while inside.{{book ref|sky1|26}}
