'''Coln Abrams''' was a [[United Intelligence Bureau]] operative, investigating the [[Phone Company]] and trailing [[Jason Write]] in a hope to discover how to travel faster than light.{{book ref|Elysium}} The UIB had decided to give up their investigations on Jason, so Coln stole some equipment and went against orders. Jason soon found Coln and let Coln follow him. Coln accepted, as he had little other choice, though he continued to hold a grudge against Jason.
