May Aladar is an [[Alethkar|Alethi]] [[lighteyes]], meaning she has tan skin and epicanthic folds. She's a short woman roughly in her twenties, with jet-black, curly hair she wears short. Her eyes are pale yellow.{{book ref|sa3|2}}
== History ==
May's father includes her in a lot of politically important events and meetings. She is present when Sadeas' dead body is found, and is later invited to [[Dalinar]]'s and [[Navani]]'s wedding.{{book ref|sa3|2}}{{book ref|sa3|4}} Afterwards, she's part of Dalinar's diplomatic team alongside her father, Navani, [[Kalami]] and [[Teshav Khal]], although during the negotiations, she is mostly an observer.{{book ref|sa3|12}}
