==The Way of Kings== Shallan spends several months chasing [[Jasnah]] across many cities, hoping to become her ward asin order to ~~steel~~steal [[Jasnah]]'s [[soulcaster]]. She finally catches up to [[Jasnah]] in [[Kharbranth]], and attempts to convince her to take Shallan as her ward three times, finally succeeding on the third. Shallan begins studying with Jasnah, and develops a friendship with the ardent [[Kabsal]].
