Editing Yis
Spoiler Policy Reminder
Under our spoiler policy, any content from books that are not fully released is not allowed on the Coppermind. This includes any information from pre-released sample chapters, readings, and other comments Brandon has made about Stormlight 5. The only exception to this rule is on meta-pages for the books themselves (e.g., Wind and Truth). If you are unsure whether the information you want to add comes from pre-release content, please do not add it and instead ask about it on our Discord.

He is one of the lead leatherworkers in [[Dalinar Kholin]]'s warcamp. [[Adolin]] consults Yis and his colleague, [[Avaran]], during the investigation into [[Elhokar]]'s broken saddle strap. Adolin shows Yis and Avaran the strap, and they agree that it was sliced rather than torn. [[Janala]] briefly interrupts, later calling the leatherworking shop "stinky". Yis and Avaran do not confirm Elhokar's theory that someone cut the strap intentionally, since they have seen similar cuts caused by loose buckles or improper storage.{{book ref|sa1|18}} Adolin later visits more leatherworkers, and most of them agree with Yis and Avaran's findings.{{book ref|sa1|22}} |
