Spoiler Policy Reminder

Under our spoiler policy, any content from books that are not fully released is not allowed on the Coppermind. This includes any information from pre-released sample chapters, readings, and other comments Brandon has made about Stormlight 5. The only exception to this rule is on meta-pages for the books themselves (e.g., Wind and Truth). If you are unsure whether the information you want to add comes from pre-release content, please do not add it and instead ask about it on our Discord.

Tyden is a nobleman in the Final Empire.mb1

  +
He attended a ball at Keep Hasting, and joked about Charrs Entrone's death. According to Vin Tyden's sense of humor would fit with Camon's crew more than the nobility.
Appearance and Personality
Tyden exhibits extreme disdain for skaa, and Vin believes that he would likely abuse or kill them without remorse. He is not very clever, and Vin thinks his sense of humor would have fit in better with Camon's crew than it does with the nobility.mb1

  +
He semi-regularly played shelldry with Milen Davenpleu, Rene and another person.
History
During a ball at Keep Hasting, he was part of a conversation with Vin, Kliss, Milen Davenpleu, and other nobles about recent events in Luthadel. He contributed little, other than a poorly-received joke about Ardous Geffenry's death. He became quite upset when Kliss mentioned local skaa thieving activity. His wife Carlee implied that his incompetence led him to be scammed by a thieving crew, perhaps explaining his extreme anger towards them.mb1

  +
He is married to Carlee. She seems to publicly mock him for his mistakes.
Relationships
  +
Carlee, who is relatively young, often publicly mocks him for his mistakes. He took part in a regular shelldry group with Milen, Rene, and another noble.mb1

  +
Vin suspects that Tyden got scammed by skaa thieves.
