What does the bolded part mean and what is the basis for it? This could end up being important since Shai's history changed to place her in Arelon, but didn't change her ancestry.

−	:For the bolded part there, that is pretty arcane lore which isn't cited here (which should be, but hey, not everything is perfect), but is accurate! It's from the entries of Aon jewelry: [https://wob.coppermind.net/events/275/#e7592] However, it's possible that the speculation of characters in Elantris isn't the full story. Certainly in their present time people of Aonic descent could only be taken by the Shaod.
