Spoiler Policy Reminder

Under our spoiler policy, any content from books that are not fully released is not allowed on the Coppermind. This includes any information from pre-released sample chapters, readings, and other comments Brandon has made about Stormlight 5. The only exception to this rule is on meta-pages for the books themselves (e.g., Wind and Truth). If you are unsure whether the information you want to add comes from pre-release content, please do not add it and instead ask about it on our Discord.

She disappeared about ten years prior to the first story. Somehow Monica has a picture of her.
Appearance and Personality
Sandra is a blond-haired woman with a long face.legionlegion3 Her voice is full and husky.legion3

Attributes and Abilities
Sandra is quite possibly the only person to ever fully understand Stephen Leeds' aspects, including Stephen himself. Not only is she able to play along with them, but she was able to help him harness them and use them for good. Prior to her intervention, they were merely shadows, much closer to schizophrenic voices than the full-fledged people they are today.cite

Sandra was able to do this because she has the same condition, that is, she manifests aspects of her own. Some of hers are named Jimmy, Orca and Mason.legion3

History
Sandra met Stephen and taught him to control his aspects. The two spent a lot of time together, including many nights conversing in candlelight.legion3

About ten years prior to the Razon case, Sandra left Stephen, heading to New York.legion

Around eight years after leaving Stephen, Sandra's situation with her aspects started to go south.legion3 Soon after, all of her aspects died. She re-manifested a large group, but they all died as well, much quicker than the first group. At some point, she decided to come to Walters and Ostman Detention Enterprises and have them put her in a virtual reality prison that suppressed her ability to manifest aspects.legion3

Just before Stephen picked up the Razon case, he was shown a picture of Sandra that confirms she left for New York. Previously, he had no leads on where she could have gone. He didn't immediately attempt to track her, however.legion

Concurrent with Stephen's manifestation of Jenny, roughly 4 years after her aspects began to disappear, Sandra sent a series of texts to Stephen, one of which included a cipher that led Stephen to a drop point in a carnival.legion3 There, she had left a smartphone that she used to contact him. During that conversation, she told him about her decision to live without aspects.legion3

Stephen broke into WODE's prison facility in an attempt to rescue her, but by the time he got to her he accepted her decision. She kissed him one last time and then he left.legion3
