Janarle was a Noble officer from the Final Empire on Scadrial.
He served Straff Venture as a general and took part in the Siege of Luthadel. After Straff was killed in the final battle of that siege, Janarle bowed to the New Empire. Henceforward he would administrate the Northern Dominance from Urteau.
As Quellion began to revolt against the New Empire, Janarle fled from Urteau. On his way through the Northern Dominance he was attacked by koloss and was transformed into one.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; refs with no name must have content
He took part in the battle for Scadrial.
Speculation
He probably burned from the sun, like most of the koloss did.[citation needed]
