Navani Kholin was a Brightlady of Alethkar on Roshar.
She was the mother of Elhokar and Gavilar's widow and when she returned to the Shattered Plains, she frequently spoke with Dalinar, and later became romantically involved with him.
She was a renowned engineer, scholar and artifabrian and was heavily involved in the creation of new fabrials. She was one of the artifabrians who created the Grandbow as well as a type of painrial. Navani also discovered that the language which Dalinar spoke during his visions was actually the Dawnchant, a formerly lost language and so proved that his visions were accurate and not the product of insanity.
