When Adolin and Kaldin, the latter serving as the former's bodyguard, arrived to meet with Shallan at Sebarial's warcamp, Shallan is excited to see that [[Wit]] was their carriage driver. Shallan revealsrevealed that she had a past relationship withencountered Wit as the court jester comforted her when she wasas a child. As Wit quickly disappearsdisappeared, the Shallan and Adolin decidedecided to go visit the local menagerie.
