<!--I suggest that this page be deleted due to it being a repeat of information on the Aether page. Furthermore, given Aether Spores are simply compressed Aether Droplets from the Aethers on the moons, it doesn't make sense to treat them as being so separate from them. Even furthermore, outside of a few factors, these have the same traits as the normal strand. Therefore, I suggest we treat this like we treat the different Surges or the different strands of Hemalurgic Chimera, all combined into one page. -- Firesong -->

Aether spores are a type of entity that is formed by aethers on Lumar.

Types

The oceans of Lumar are covered in 12 different types of spore, with a rumoured thirteenth existing as well.[1] The types are as follows:

Verdant

Verdant aether spores come from the Emerald Sea and grow into vines after contact with water.[2]

Crimson

Crimson spores come from the Crimson Sea and watering Crimson aether creates large spines that easily pierce flesh.[3]

Zephyr

Zephyr aether spores come from the Sapphire Sea and releases a burst of air when watered.[4]

Rosesite

Roseitse spores come from the Rose Sea and when watered produces roseite.

Sunlight

Sunlight aether produces light and heat when watered.[5]

Midnight

Midnight aether spores come from the Midnight Sea and create Midnight Essence. It is the only type of spore on Lumar that requires a Luhel bond to function.[6][7]

Bone

This is a rumoured thirteenth type of spore said to exist by locals. Legends attest that it is incredibly rare, accounts can not agree if the spore is white or black, nor on what it does.[1]
