| β | ::Their body temperature issues actually cannot be a result of savantism with Feruchemical brass, since Kelsier had to go to the South to create the Firemothers and Firefathers, and they were already dying before he did that (that's that last Bands of Mourning memory). So the implication to me is that Rashek changed them to help them during the Final Empire period to handle the heat, and when Harmony changed the world back, they felt the world was too cold. Their active use of Feruchemical brass using the medallions came later. Its unclear how much access the Southerners have to Feruchemy though, which has always been unclear to me.
