Though called acognitive shadow in the referenced chapter, this was while she was detached from her body. When they switched places, both cognitive shadows went back and forth, and we do not know that her body was not self perpetuating, similar to an Elantrian. After the end of the book, she has a body, as You'd says she's as real as anyone else, and everyone can see her, therefore she's probably not a shadow anymore
