The Unmade are a group of nine{{book ref|sa3|1}} ancient, twisted spren{{book ref|sa3|62}} comprised of [[Splinter]]s of [[Odium]].{{redditwob ref|books|2ytg2h|cpcr9f0|text=AMA, Splinters of Odium|date=2015-03-129207}} The Unmade were once something else, but they were somehow unmade into their current forms.{{book ref|sa3|84}} They now exist as minions of Odium, doing his bidding.{{book ref|sa3|1}} Each Unmade is endowed with vast and terrible powers,{{epigraph ref|sa3|89}} such as [[Sja-anat|corrupting spren]],{{book ref|sa3|77}} providing [[Moelach| visions of the future]],{{epigraph ref|sa3|102}} or producing [[Midnight Essence|evil murderous spren]].{{book ref|sa3|29}} The intelligence of an individual Unmade varies from wise and crafty{{epigraph ref|sa3|106}} to simply mindless forces.{{epigraph ref|sa3|104}} The Unmade are not traditionally counted among the Voidbringers, but the two are often associated and they are among the most powerful of Odium's forces.
