Nightblood can sense where Vasher is. This is because Nightblood has ingested and fed off of Vasher’s Breaths in the past which is also the reason why he is not sick when touching it.{{annotation ref|book=wb|chapter=55}} In Roshar, it is implied he still talks to Nightblood expecting his answer back though there hasn’t been an answer in years.{{book ref|sa2|i|6}}
