When Vin arrived to meet with Hoid, Kelsier attempted to warn her away from him.{{msh ref|6|1}} Although Vin could not hear Kelsier directly, she sensed something off about Hoid{{wob ref|5760}} and followed her instincts, choosing not to speak to him.{{book ref|mb3|27}}
