A fifteen year old student named Asinthew, who was also known as [[Waxillium Ladrian]], asked him about past violence in the Village. Tellingdwar told him about a murder that happened fifteen years prior, when a Terrisman had killed his wife with a gun of unknown origin.{{book ref|bom|Prologue}} Tellingdwar knew the couple personally.
