{{quote
Szeth is given a sword by Nale, which he calls "sword-nimi". This sword, also known as [[Nightblood]], is sentient and can communicate with Szeth telepathically. Szeth is warned not to draw Nightblood except in case of extreme emergency and only if he carries a great deal of [[Stormlight]], as the sword is extremely dangerous and can feed upon souls.{{book ref|sa2|90}}
