The Surge of Adhesion can be manipulated to bind things together. The two orders of Knights Radiant with access to this Surge are the Bondsmiths and the Windrunners. Honorspren and windspren can use it, very weakly.3260 This power is of Honor alone; it is referred to as "Honor's Truest Surge" and is difficult to suppress, with the Sibling calling it "the Surge of Binding and Oaths". On the contrary, this Surge is viewed lowly among the singers. Raboniel referred to Adhesion as "not a true Surge" Sand no Fused has access to this Surge.sa4

* "Surgebinding" is used as a catch-all term for any manifestation of Investiture by many Rosharans, and not just the ten Surges.14347
* The Surges as well as their names, far predates the Knights Radiant.sa4 Surges existed on Ashyn prior to humans' arrival on Roshar, albeit without being restricted by Honor.sa4 Back then Nahel bond wasn't discovered and humans could Surgebind without Oaths.sa4 Ishar was the first person that Odium tricked into experimenting with Surges.sa4 After Ashyn was destroyed by over-powerful Surgebinding and humans fled to Roshar, Honor started to put certain restrictions on it, but with Honor Splintered, at least some of these restrictions are starting to lax.sa4
* Rayse stated that the Shards of other worlds will find out about the power of Surgebinding and a war will start when this happens.sa4 What form will the Surgebinding of other worlds take is unknown.
