;Plot Summary
Shallan becomes Veil and goes to a bar. She tries to act tough but ends up getting drunk. Her stormlight is able to heal her of her drunkeness. She learns about a murder that has happened nearby. She goes to a bar near the murder. The barkeep directs her to a group in the corner. She steals the seat of a Horneater. The Horneater comes back and throws her out of the seat. She cuts through her hand and into the horneater to intimidate them. By showing the Ghostbloods symbol the people are intimidated enough to tell him about the murders. She discovers that it isn't like Sadeas' murder but there were two murders, the second an exact copycat of the first one. The people through the murder off of the cliff, thinking that he was responsible for the murders.
