The parshmen decide what to do with Kaladin. They had taken his supplies and hid them. Syl is avoiding Kaladin because she is afraid the Parshmen and a voidspren can see her. She is acting like a windspren. Kaladin tries to convince the parshmen that he understands what they were feeling. The parshmen tells him that Kaladin doesn't understand and what the parshmen went through is way worse. Kaladin tries to get the parshmen to trust him. He explains that he can make fire out of wet wood. The parshmen agree to let him teach them.
