A type of spren that appear around exhausted people. In Shadesmar they seem indistinct yet also large and birdlike. Their appearance in the physical realm has not been described, but they appear among the Kholin forces following the Battle of the Tower.{{book ref|sa1|68}}
Shallan referred to them as birdlike, although on Roshar birds are chickens, so perhaps it should have been "chickenlike".
