A rare type of spren that appear at night amongst the stars. In the [[Physical Realm]] appear as small points of light that chase one another like insects. In [[Shadesmar]], starspren appear as huge, long-necked [[greatshell]]-like creatures with ashen carapace that are only visible from a certain angle.
They were not imagined into existence by greatshells.{{wob ref|14424}}
