A '''shiqua''' is an outfit worn by the [[Tashikk]]i.{{book ref|edgedancer|8}} The outfit is a single sheet, wrapped around the entirety of the wearer's body from head to toe, winding around arms and legs individually; sometimes also being wrapped back around the waist as a skirt. Additionally, the face covering can be pulled down. The garment is worn by both men and women.{{book ref|edgedancer|2}}{{book ref|edgedancer|3}}

The shiqua has a religious purpose, to cover up the wearer's body from an entity named Nun Raylisi ([[Rayse]]{{wob ref|12755}}), the enemy of the god Tashi. In Tashikk, it is considered less necessary to do so, because it is believed that Tashi protects them there.{{book ref|edgedancer|3}}
