After Kaladin leaves, they are blamed for harboring a spy and are enslaved with the humans,{{book ref|sa3|54}} put to work hauling lumber.{{book ref|sa3|51}} He is angry over their treatment, including his daughter being taken away, but doesn't know what to do about it when Khen berates him.{{book ref|sa3|54}} Moash, captured by the Fused, defends Sah and his group from overzealous overseers. Later, he teaches them how to fight, for as part of their punishment they would be among the first to assault Kholinar.{{book ref|sa3|51}}{{book ref|sa3|54}} At the battle of Kholinar, Sah and his group of singers assault the palace, where he and Kaladin recognize one another. In the ensuing melee, Sah kills [[Beard]] a member of the [[Wall Guard]], and is killed by [[Noro]] in turn.{{book ref|sa3|85}}
