The planet of Roshar predates the [[Shattering]]. The continent was specifically grown by [[Adonalsium]].{{wob ref|3952}} Much of the ecology of the planet existed from this time, including the [[highstorm]]s and the [[spren]].{{wob ref|167}}{{wob ref|6567}} The [[singers]] were the primary inhabitants of Roshar at this time and are likely the [[Dawnsingers]] spoken of in modern times.{{wob ref|3922}} At some point after the Shattering, [[Honor]] and [[Cultivation]] settled on Roshar. They were equally Invested in the planet originally, though the balance shifted after Honor's death.{{wob ref|12038}}
