The '''Parshendi''' are a race of creatures on the world of [[Roshar]], featured in [[The Stormlight Archive]]. They live in the area of Roshar known as the [[Shattered ~~plains~~Plains]] and seem to be related to (and physically resemble in some aspects) [[Parshmen\|The Parshmen]]. However, the Parshendi are mentally much more intelligent than the Parshmen. Male Parshendi grow beards, which they thread through beads infused with [[stormlight]]. The Parshendi were originally discovered by [[Gavilar\|King Gavilar]] during a hunting trip. Not much is known about the ways of the Parshendi. They appear to have a form of hive mind.
