Upon becoming an Inquisitor, he gained further abilities in Allomancy and [[Feruchemy]] through the use of [[Hemalurgic]] spikes. He gained many more spikes than were usual for an Inquisitor in the Lord Ruler's time; upwards of twenty.{{book ref|mb3|72}} Some of the spikes Marsh has have granted him the abilities of Allomantic [[steel]],{{book ref|mb2|57}} [[iron]],{{book ref|mb2|58}} [[pewter]],{{book ref|mb3|34}} [[tin]],{{book ref|mb3|42}} [[zinc]],{{book ref|aol|epilogue}} [[duralumin]],{{epigraph ref|mb3|72}} and [[atium]],{{book ref|mb3|81}} as well as granting him the abilities of Feruchemical pewter,{{book ref|mb3|65}} steel,{{book ref|mb3|42}} [[gold]],{{book ref|mb3|69}} and atium.{{wob ref|4142}} He also has a spike to further increase his Allomantic [[bronze]].{{epigraph ref|mb3|37}}
 
His multiple atium abilities allow him to [[Compounding|extend his life]] as [[Rashek]] had.
