▲When Navani requests Windrunners to go on another expedition to [[Akinah]] to find the [[Oathgate]] there, Kaladin initially suggests sending Teft. Navani refuses the suggestion due to the risk of sending a "key" to the Oathgate should it already be taken by the enemy.{{book ref|sa3.5|13}} Instead, Kaladin sends Lopen, [[Huio]], and [[Cord]] (who replaced Kaladin's original choice of Rock), telling them their mission is to see if the Oathgate is still functional and whether it has fallen into enemy hands.{{book ref|sa3.5|3}}
