At some point, Kaise became a member of the [[Ghostbloods]] (alongside one of her brothers) and worked on [[Scadrial]] in order to resist the oncoming threat of [[Trell (Trellism)|Trell]], under the codename of Codenames Are Stupid. She worked out of a safehouse in [[Bilming]], alongside [[Wan ShaiLu|Moonlight]], [[Prasanva|TwinSoul]], [[Dao]], and her dog [[Lily]]. She was present when Moonlight brought [[Marasi]] to the safehouse, but stayed behind while the others left on a mission; her task was to meet [[Maraga]] and send messages to [[Steris]] and the Ghostblood agents in the [[Elendel Basin]], telling them to prepare for an evacuation of [[Elendel]].{{book ref|mb7|39}}{{book ref|mb7|40}}
