Honor is commonly known on [[Roshar]], as God, the '''Almighty''', the creator of mankind. It is suspected that he was in some way responsible for the [[Oathpact]], that bind his [[Herald]]s to fight the [[Voidbringers]]. Sometime after the event referred to as the [[Last Desolation]], he was [[Splinter]]ed by [[Odium]].{{qa ref|755|27|Was Honor Splintered?|date=2012-04-17}} However, before his death, Honor left behind a "journal" of sorts—a series of visions—to warn of what he fears to come, the True Desolation.{{qa ref|666|3|Was the Almighty still alive when the Heralds packed it in?|date=Nov 10th, 2011}}{{qa ref|755|27-11-10}} The True Desolation is theorized to be the end of [[Cosmere]] by the hand of Odium; however, other theories limit the consequences of the True Desolation to the end of human life on Roshar.
