In the [[Cognitive Realm]], sapient spren appear to act more energetically during highstorms, and it has been speculated that they get their sustenance from it.{{book ref|sa3|101}}
Highstorms can be used to see the future in the Cognitive Realm. This, combined with the Stormlight they generate, makes it possible that the highstorm has [[Honor's Perpendicularity]] within it.
