== Personality ==
Hanavanar was a rather clever man, smart enough to realize that he could be a potential target for Szeth, after three of the Veden highprinces were murdered. He was also wily enough to keep his [[Shardblade]] a secret, although some rumors managed to get out. However, he severely underestimated Szeth's abilities, arrogantly assuming that he, two [[Shardbearer]]s, and guards wielding [[half-shard]]s would be enough to defeat Szeth. He also grew frustrated easily, swearing at his men when they failed to kill Szeth quickly.
